Flat signed by the author without dedication to the half title, the first of two grey title pages in the prelims. Beautiful decorated black endpapers with white fox creatures to the endpapers. Top and bottom edge are sprayed whilst the fore edge also has an intricate and beautiful green foliage and yellow fox design. The book is square and firmly bound. No previous ownership inscriptions or remainder marks. The boards are clean and unfaded, the corners and spine ends sharp. The pages and closed page edges are clean. The dust jacket is crisp and complete and unclipped at £18.99. Both wraps are sumptuously illustrated in white black and gilt tooling. The colours are bright, fresh and unfaded, corners and spine ends are sharp. Book is new.
