Condition very good, covers edges slightly chipped, a few spots to end-papers else contents clean. With an Introduction by Professor C. U. Ariens Kappers. A nice association copy of a rare hard-to-find work. This copy is signed and inscribed by Kappers on the front cover, to Sir Arthur Keith. (Sir Arthur Keith FRS 1866-1955, was a Scottish anatomist and anthropologist, who became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Hunterian Professor and conservator of the Hunterian Museum of the Royal College of Surgeons in London).
