First edition. Signed on the front flyleaf in pencil "Property of George Gallup". Hardcover in dark green blindstamped cloth, lettered in gilt. . 190 pp. with index. Part of the McGraw Hill Vocational Texts Series. A tight, fine example. In 1929, Gallup was head of the Depatrment of Journalism at Drake University. Later he would become the poineer and leader in the field of survey and sampling techniques.
