This is a Good Copy of this book in it''s original dark blue cloth with gilt title lettering to spine.Comprehensive history of both Huncoat and Altham on the edges of Accrington in Lancashires.Includes a frontispiece and 20 b&w plates.Collated and complete.There is one previous owner's name to the front pastedown and one Richard Ainsworth Complimentary slip pasted down onto the front endpaper and also signed in ink pen by Mrs Ainsworth and dated 'Aug 30th 38'.Internally the book has some tanning/age toning to text block edges and with historic tape strengthening applied to the title page and frontispiece join.There is a little stitching showing through at the front gutter hinge join.Scarce title 8vo (xi) 303pp plus subscribers list at rear of the book.First Edition [1932].
