Dust jacket in a protective sleeve. A deeply satisfying saga of English country life, told with humour and compassion. Book in very good condition. Some light soiling to text block edges. A few very small and light crease markers to a handful of bottom corners (no dog-ears). Slight musty smell but no signs of damp damage and no spotting other than a small area to upper corner of rear paste down. Internally clean and bright. Dust jacket fair. Unclipped. Generally a little rubbed and soiled and some delamination of plastic coating. Small area of loss to front adjacent to fold and some slight loss to extremities of spine. Edge wear and some chipping and a few small nicks and a closed tear to loser edge of front. Spine a little discoloured. Evidence of earlier tape repair to internal surface near top of front. Jacket now protected in a removable sleeve.
