The Hot Gates - Signed First Edition

Signed by the author to the front free endpaper. First edition, first impression, published by Faber and Faber in 1965. Red cloth covers, some bumping to the spine ends, with a small scuff to the gilt and black title to the spine, square, secure binding, signed by the author to the free endpaper, a few faint spots to the endpapers, next blank has faint offsetting, pages otherwise smart. Price clipped dust jacket with a 1 inch closed tear to the top edge of the front which has a historical tape repair to the verso (original tape now removed and replaced by archival repair tape). Jacket with some faint spots, now in a removable protective wrapper. Very good condition.
