Synopsis

Mike Redden, fortyish, Vietnam Veteran, his father a prominent and respected judge, has just been released from a California state prison. His beloved sister, a movie actress and star in her late twenties, has been murdered. Mike vows revenge, but finds himself thrown into conflict with the seasoned LAPD detective who was responsible for sending him to prison. Mike is also on parole, which restricts his actions. But an attempt on his life draws him into a vortex of events characterized by Colombian drug smuggling, multiple murder, sex, and violent action.

About the Author

Tom Donald lives in Carlsbad, California. The former Marine studied Cinema at the University of Southern California, and is a charter member of the Cinema Alumni Association. He has been a member of the LA Mayor's Council on Criminal Justice and the CETA Manpower Development Board for the City of Los Angeles. He volunteers time to the KAIROS Prison Ministry, and was instrumental in establishing this Christian ecumenical program at the California Institution for Men, Chino, California. He was the Executive Director of the 7th Step Foundation in the greater Los Angeles area while attending USC in the early seventies, and established a youth counseling/diversion program in the San Fernando Valley, as well as a halfway house in the South Central area of Los Angeles.
