The entirety then rebound in stiff half-leather to marbled bards with four raised bands to the spine and with gilt titles. The spine damaged at some time has been repaired leaving a minor chip to the foot. Inscribed by the Poet to the front free end-paper. Tipped in a newspaper cutting from "Effort" 11th April 1942 headed "Leon Verane - Poete Toulonnais" by Charles de Richter. A very smart copy of a SCARCE title. French language of course. Printed by Bouchet Printers of Toulon-sur-Mer.
