SIGNED. 93pp. Slim octavo [21.5 cm] Stapled red pictorial wraps. Wraps beginning to rip around staples. Very good. Light creasing at the corners and spine ends. Illustrated by Ramona Dick. Number 37 in an edition with no specified limitation. Signed and inscribed by Punkin in Romani: "Kushti Bok, Punkin" ("Good Luck, Punkin"). Ella Steele, aka Punkin, left home abruptly when she was 16 years old, and married a gypsy. She then spent close to 30 years immersed in gypsy culture, and wrote this memoir in order to shed light on the mysteries and misconceptions surrounding the gypsies. Seller Inventory # 65074
