A signed, first editon copy of Hari Kunzru's award winning debut novel. Accompanied by a signed copy of the uncorrected proof. The first edition, with the original unclipped dustwrapper. Signed by Hari Kunzru to the title page of the novel and the proof copy. A fine copy of this novel, with a near fine copy of the uncorrected proof. 'The Impresionist' earned Kunzru the Betty Trask Award and the Somerset Maugham Award. It concerns the protagonist, Pran Nath, who is the child of a one-time affair between an English father and Indian mother. His life and search for a permanent identity is followed throughout the course of the novel. In the publisher's original cloth binding and original unclipped dustwrapper. With the proof in the original paper wraps. Externally, excellent with minor shelfwear. Proof copy has some minor bumping to the extremities. Dustwrapper is also in a fine condition, with little to no shelfwear. Internally, both volumes are firmly bound. Pages are very bright. Minor marking to the bottom edge of the proof copy.
