Incendiary - NUMBERED, AS NEW

Signed by the author and dated 17th June 2005. Number 309 of only 500 copies, this hardback was issued as a limited edition. As new, opened only by the author to sign and date the book, and to insert a slip of paper with his contact details. Published three weeks later as a paperback original, only 500 of these superb hardbacked copies were issued. The paperback publication date was July 7th, the day of the first Underground bombings in London. A remarkable and highly praised first novel about a terrorist bombing at a soccer match in London. It anticipates the subsequent London subway bombings July 7th, which happened less than 3 weeks after Cleave signed this book. Angry, funny, heart-rending and subversive, few first novels are as compelling as this one. Shockingly brutal, yet hopeful, Incendiary entertains as it moves from horror to humour.
