Both went to Katyn Forest with the preconceived idea that the Germans had committed the crimes. Both were prejudiced against Germany because of their war-time experiences. Both came to the conclusion that the crimes had not been committed by Germany-our enemy at that time-but by Russia-our ally at that time. On the other hand, witnesses who attended the Russian investigation were of the opinion that it was a staged presentation and not productive of any real evidence. ; Book of Milton Crane, with his signature, a member of the unusual Jewish Fulton Masonic Lodge of Atlanta. Crane grew up in Stoughton, Mass., a suburb of 6,000, located 18 miles from Boston, with only 46 Jewish families.Crane went on to the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, majoring in economics. He then served two years in the Air Force stationed at Brunswick, Maine. After the service, he moved to Lynn, Mass. After earning his MBA, he transferred to Atlanta in 1956. Crane first had a career in the women's fashion business, when the Merchandise Mart opened in 1960, as a regional manager. He later joined the corporate world with Portman's Apparel Mart 1989 as executive director of mart relations, until retirement at 75. Crane appeared in two TV productions, "Lodge 49" and "Wonder Years." ; Carl Harry Claudy was an American author, magazine writer, and journalist for the New York Herald. He wrote a number of books relating to photography and to aviation, including First Book of Photography: A Primer of Theory and Prize Winners' Book of Model Airplanes. ; Introduction to Freemasonry: Entered Apprentice by Carl H.
