First Edition, First Printing with the words "FIRST PRINTING" printed on the copyright page. A very good copy INSCRIBED and SIGNED by Ralph Ellison on the front endpaper. This First Issue dustjacket has the correct publisher's price of $3.50 on the front flap with some wear to the spine and edges. The book is bound in the publisher's cloth and is very good condition. The book has some discoloration to the spine and wear to the boards. The pages are clean with NO marks or bookplates in the book. An affordable copy SIGNED by the author with the original dustjacket.
