He created prints, and sculptures but especially collage. He was close to the surrealist and dada movements, and was later associated with CoBrA. As an author, he has been described as a leading promoter of the avant-garde. and Édouard Léon Théodore Mesens 1903-1971) was a Belgian artist and writer associated with the Belgian Surrealist movement. Dedicated by both E. Baj & E.L.T. Mesens to Emile Langui (1903-1980) Belgian art historian.Original wrappers. In Very good condition.
