One of the rare 500 numbered and signed copies of the first edition. Boom/ Lommen 221. Very fine miniature book, published on occasion of the exhibition of Irma Boom's "living archive" in the Amsterdam University Library in 2010. The illustrations show Boom's bookdesigns from 1986 until 2010, including the famous SHV Thinkbook, but also designs for logos, stamps and posters. Irma Boom (1960) designs books. And she is very successful. The New York Times called her perhaps the best book designer of this time in 2010. The monograph sold out shortly after publication, and became legendary.
