First Printing of the UK first edition. An unread copy of the Hugo-award winning first novel. The book has clearly been opened only for the author to sign and date - "4th October 2004" - the UK date of publication. Black-coloured boards with embossed titles at the backstrip. With ribbon-marker as called for - the ribbon-marker has never been disturbed and so has over time started to pull the block away from the backstrip at the top. The book is in Very Fine condition otherwise, however, with no further reportable faults. In the black dustjacket which is unclipped and also in Very Fine condition. Seller Inventory # 1901200739

Black-coloured boards with embossed titles at the backstrip, dark-coloured edges to the block. With ribbon-marker as called for - the ribbon-marker has never been disturbed and so has over time started to pull the block away from the backstrip at the top. The book is in Fine unread condition otherwise, however, with the most minor of pushing to the spine tips and with minor marks to the top and bottom edges of the block.
