With an introductory Memoir by Joan Hassall and appreciation of her technique by George Mackley. Many reproductions of Hassall's wood-engravings. Quarter black morocco, grey cloth boards with decorative endpapers. Top edge gilt. Inserted in a pocket at the end of the book is a miniature pamphlet The Plain Facts by a Plain but Amiable Cat (Garland Chapbook No. 1) signed by Joan Hassall who did the cover illustration.
