Chamberlin, from an Abolitionist family in Vermont, was a writer for the Boston Evening Transcript, with a popular column called "The Listener." Thompson, editor of "The Youth's Companion," wrote several books, and articles for the Atlantic. Light rubbing to edges, and light sunning to spine else fine in blue cloth covers, gilt.
