About this Item

Signed on the front free endpaper with a dedication to Mary (Mary Gamble) his fourth wife. The boards have a little fading around the edges, a small dent in the bottom edge of the front panel and light bumping to the bottom corners. Page edges a little browned with a patch of discolouration to the top edges. Light spotting to the endpapers but the pages are generally unmarked. The jacket has fading to the spine which is a little chipped at the top and bottom. Browning to the rear panel which has a stain near the right hand edge and some surface scraping near the left hand edge. The front panel has a small closed tear in the top edge and there is some edge rubbing. First printing. Seller Inventory # 012980

European Orders: Shipping costs are based on books weighing 800g. For European orders I have only quoted a price for air mail. Not all European countries have been added so your shipping may appear high. Please note that I will adjust the charge I make if this is the case and postage to Europe will be lower than the rest of the world. If you are buying a small paperback or another small book then the postage and packing will generally be reduced by �1.50 and I will reduce the charge before processing your order.

Other overseas orders: shipping costs are based on books weighing 800g. I will generally use whatever method is covered by the standard postage charge but if you specifically wish to have it sent surface or airmail or anything else please ask and I will amend the charge accordingly.
