Near fine/ very good A pleasing copy of a handsome edition of Herbert Edward Palmer's play, which "seek[s] to give the true story of Francois de Montcorbier, otherwise known as Francois Villon [. the] robber, vagabond and sensualist, his hands were stained with murder [.] And yet he was a great poet" (Preface) Herbert Edward Palmer (1880 1961) was an English poet and literary critic, who also published two collections of poetry with the Hogarth Press.
