Item description from seller

34pp, illustrated with a portrait of the author, stiff printed yellow wraps, very light foxing to the first and last pages. Limited to 215 copies. Author's signature tipped in. A Check List of One Hundred and Thirty-Five Fugitive Books and Pamphlets Relating to the Bluegrass State and its People. Coleman was one of Kentucky's outstanding historians, whom I had the pleasure of meeting many years ago. He was a walking encyclopedia of Kentucky history and very open and willing to share his knowledge. It was a humbling and thrilling experience for a beginning bookseller to be discussing history with one of Kentucky's pre-eminent historians, while sitting in his library, surrounded by his vast collection of Kentucky books and pamphlets. This is an indispensable guide for the collector of Kentucky books.
