About this Item
Octavo, 414pp. A crisp, clean, unread copy, very near fine, in the publisher's burgundy cloth. Newer bookseller sticker to the rear free endpaper. In a near fine price-clipped dust jacket, just a touch rubbed, and gently sunned on the spine, with some small and neat, but unnecessary clear tape reinforcements to verso. SIGNED and INSCRIBED by Sorensen on the half-title page: "For Gene Crimson [?] with best wishes, Ted Sorensen Feb. 1988." Laid in is an authentication document from a previous bookseller. Ted Sorensen was John F. Kennedy's primary speechwriter, as well as one of his most trusted advisors. He had a long career in politics following Kennedy's assassination. Seller Inventory # 11703
