Collection of typed letters signed by American author Kenneth Roberts. The collection includes two typed letters signed by Roberts and addressed to Malcolm Decker dated May 21, 1937 and May 16, 1946. Additionally included are two signed postcards signed by Roberts. In near fine condition. Born in Kennebunk, Maine, American writer Kenneth Roberts specialized in regional historical fiction, often writing about his native state and its terrain and also about other upper New England states and scenes. Ranked as one of the best historical romances of all time, his best known work, Arundel, is a masterful retelling of Benedict Arnold's secret expedition to attack Quebec city during the American Revolutionary War.
