Publishers blue half morocco with blue cloth sides contained in a Solander box with leather spine and front cover titles. A fine set of the first section of this monumental work, probably the finest ornithological monograph of modern times. This series is complete for the Kingfishers themselves. The box has slight bumping to the corners and some light damp staining on the spine, the books are in fine condition except to a minor bump to the edge of one volume . Set no 54 of a limited edition of 1000 signed by Joseph Forshaw and William T Cooper in each volume.
