The American edition precedes the British edition, which was published later in that same year. Publisher's full morocco with gilt lettering, ruling, top edge, and dentelles. Silken moire endpapers. Red cloth slipcase. Hardcover is Fine with light sun fading to spine and a small light strip of fading running horizontally along the front cover about a half inch from top to bottom. Minimal wear to edges and tips. Slipcase is in Near Fine/Fine condition with some light shelf wear. A beautiful signed memoir in exceptional condition by the former British king, who stepped down less than a year into his reign to marry Wallis Simpson, an American. Seller Inventory # 3630
