Pergaud Superbe reliure parlante plein cuir noire signée Daniel Quéméner, dos lisse où auteur et titre sont frappés or, plats ornés d un décor gaufré en relief représentant un Beffroi, le même que celui présent sur la première de couverture de l ouvrage, auquel s ajoute un ciel « à la » Van Gogh. Couvertures conservées, reliure en parfait état,quelques tâches à noter sur les pages intérieures mais bel état malgré tout. Rarissime exemplaire en tirage de tête de ce recueil dont le tirage courant est lui-même introuvable. Le seul historique de vente d un exemplaire en grand papier date de la vente de la bibliothèque de Pierre Nétange, en décembre 2015, où l exemplaire en question fut adjugé 3916 frais compris. Un des premiers écrits, touchant et prometteur, de l auteur de la Guerre des Boutons, mort pour la France à Verdun en 1915, il était âgé de 33 ans. Enriched with an inscription from the author to the poet Léon Bocquet: "To the pure poet Léon Bocquet, to the friend, with very affectionate feelings from L. Pergaud" Superb "speaking" full black leather binding signed by Daniel Quéméner. The smooth spine features the author and title stamped in gold. The covers are adorned with an embossed relief design of a Belfry, the same as the one featured on the first page of the book, with the addition of a "Van Gogh-style" sky. Original covers preserved. The binding is in perfect condition, with some stains noted on the interior pages, but still in very good overall condition. An extremely rare copy in large paper of this collection, of which the regular print is itself almost unobtainable. The only recorded sale of a large-paper copy was at the auction of the Pierre Nétange library in December 2015, where the copy was sold for 3,916 including fees. One of the first touching and promising works by the author of La Guerre des Boutons, who died for France at Verdun in 1915 at the age of 33.
