Signed First US Edition, Presentation copy. Very good plus condition in very good unclipped dust jacket. Inscribed by Roth to Julius and dated April 1974 (To Julius, another one for the mob). Julius is believed to be the painter Julius Goldstein who was married to the writer Joan Aitken, both close friends of Philip Roth. The dust jacket shows signs of wear and has a few nicks, particularly to the head and tail of the spine (see photo).
