Very Good+ in boards. Signed and inscribed by author on front end page. Inscription reads: "To Mrs. Drake, with the affectionate regards of Eugene Field". Field dated the inscription April 11th, 1893. Included is a lengthy personal letter from Field to Kate Ward Drake, dated April the 12th, 1893, complete in original envelope. Shows edge wear and scuffing to front and rear panel. Gilt on front panel robust. Front panel cloth slightly creased at upper edge.; Signed.; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; Signed by Author.
