Snugly bound, bright and very neat HC in original green cloth with decorative pictorial title design in gilt and red to cover and spine. Top edge gilt. Issued in an edition limited to 450 copies, this copy numbered 17 and signed by the author on the limitation leaf. Prior ownership in pencil to front endpage of Charles Ezra Bowman, a leading figure in Lancaster's place in watch making and repair, for many years the leading figure of the Bowman Technical School. A notable and well regarded book of Lancaster city and county reflections, comprised of the author's wide rangiing style of well written verse and his craefully composed photographs of early 20th century Lancaster locations, scenes and landmarks. Trace shelf evidence to cloth at corner tips; cloth lightly crimped at spine ends. An impressive and well preserved copy with notable provenance.
