About this Item

First edition of Rilke's third published work. Signed and inscribed on the title page by Rainer Maria Rilke reading in rough translation, "To the sensitive poet, Herr / Ottokar Stauf von der March, / as a sign of my great / appreciation. / Ren� Maria Rilke". Bound in publisher's original light blue wraps printed in dark blue. Good, fragile, with wear to wraps, repairs to spine and splits started to the bottom of the joints.
