76p., reproduced from typed mss, first edition in photo-portrait glossy white 8.5x6.5 inch wraps; nice clean copy inscribed and signed by author on titlepage. Lurie is from Seattle, lives in San Francisco; he characterizes these as "loops" and "crab-fugues" meant to be spoken aloud antiphonally by a chorus (read silently they are pedestrian).
