First edition, first printing. Signed by Peter Beagle on the title page and inscribed to a former owner. Bound in publisher's original blue paper-covered boards over black spine cloth lettered in blue, yellow and purple. Near Fine with slight rubbing to spine stamping, previous owner's bookplate on front free endpaper and a handful of small stray ink marks throughout. In a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket with small edge tears and price written in ink to bottom corner of front flap. The beloved medieval fantasy novel, signed by Peter Beagle.
