The Curwen Press [-] printed the pattern paper used on the cover. It was designed by Margaret James in 1922. [-] It is known as Harlequin. Greg Campbell who with his staff bound this book, acquired the Curwen [pattern] sheets from Falkner Fine Papers of London. Of 150 copies in the edition, this is copy number 91". [signed in this copy]: John DePol. 6 1/4 inches x 9 1/2 in., frontispiece wood-engraving by John DePol; title-page with smaller DePol design printed in red-brown; dedication page; contents; preface by Walter Shewring. Pp. [1]-27, with colophon on reverse (p. [28]); illustrated with a total of six DePol wood-engravings printed in black on white. Black cloth spine and sides with a mounted, printed paper spine label (and an extra label, tipped-in to the back of the book), and the "Harlequin" patterned paper (originally printed at the Curwen Press), on the front & back covers, tan endpapers.
