Additionally includes autograph letter with original envelope laid in: "For awhile I have been thinking of sending you a copy of 'Leaf Thread'.to you and refrained because I did not want you to think I was being presumptuous. Your poetry has been a source of enjoyment and encouragement to me, and I thought you might like to glance at the collection. It is a modest beginning, to be sure.".
