Signed by Whiley to the introduction page. Stated limited edition, this being No. 541 but no total for the number of books printed is present. Written by one of the family of George Whiley Ltd one of the premier gold leave manufacturers in Britain about the craft. Includes many line drawings. 72pp. Privately printed by the company. Cream cloth boards with a green title plate to the upper board and gilt lettering and decoration to the same. Spine has a green title plate with gilt lettering and decoration. Boards are protected by removable plastic cover. The plastic cover is held by crude tape to the pastedowns which has left stains to the pstedowns and endpapers, Held within purpose made slip case in green with yellow decoration and a white title plate which is quite heavily foxed. There is a title plate to the slip-case spine but this has been crudely reattached with tape. Light rubbing to extremities of slip-case. Seller Inventory # A5156
