He was an actor, director, writer, born in Dublin as Reginald Ingram Montgomery Hitchcock. He was the producer of The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (1921). Michael Powell worked for him in his early years in pictures and counted Ingram a major influence This his first book is about the French Foreign Legion This copy is inscribed to William Fox who founded the Fox Film Corporation in 1915 and the Fox West Coast Theatres chain in the 1920s.
