First edition, 1894. faintly SIGNED BY AUTHOR on copyright page. Very good green hardcover. Some soiling to covers, wear to spine ends. Previous owner's name stamp to top of title page. The author was a noted singer and music teacher. He served as accompanist to the prima donna Tietjens and worked with Col. James Henry Mapleson for the New York Academy of Music.
