24 pages plus title page, mimeographed 11 x 8.5 sheets, loose in mailing envelope. Strongin is a poet living now in British Columbia. She has written extensively about polio (which she had at age 12), the war years and post-war life in her auto-biography 'Indigo: An American Jewish Chilkdhood.' Her book 'Spectral Freedom' was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize in literature. Robert Hawley was founder of Oyez Press and the owner/founder of Ross Valley Book Co. Inscribed by the author on title page: 'For Robert Hawley, warm regards from Lynn Strongin.' And inscribed on title page: 'Dear Bob, Here is the long poem I was working on when we met. I'd like you to have this copy. Would welcome any response you feel like giving. Hope all's well. Lynn.' Also on title page in holograph: 'Copyright 1970 by Lynn Strongin.' First edition (first printing). Near fine copy enclosed in hand-addressed mailing envelope by Strongin with return Berkeley address. Seller Inventory # 264341
