First Edition (Number Line to 1). ) Signed and inscribed by the author on the half-title page (For Glenda and John, with warmest regards, Bill, Nov. 2, 2010). There are only a couple of other signed copies of this book. Their cost is 50 to 75% above mine. You can see the dust jacket in the photos. It's very clean and has very little wear, a little crinkling at the top edge of the spine, very light crease off the top edge of the front. The flaps are in excellent condition. The jacket is NOT price-clipped, not clipped at all. It will be fitted with a protective cover. You can also see the covers of the book in the photos. They are very clean. The gilt lettering on the spine is very bright. They don't appear to have any wear. The book is very solidly bound from cover to cover, the pages are nicely tight. They are also exceptionally clean. I didn't see any instances of soiling. The page edges are also very clean, as are the red inside covers and end papers. There are no attachments in the book. It is NOT ex-library. There is some neat blue pen underlining, under a sentence or two on each of eight pages, all in one section. There are no other markings. 'Full of compelling stories, insights, and practical wisdom, Lessons Learned frames the questions that leaders of higher education will continue to confront at a complex moment in history.'.
