First Edition, published October, 1938, SIGNED by author and in original dust jacket. Clean beige buckram cloth boards with blue title box, gold lettering and quill pen decoration on cover, gold lettering in blue title box on spine. Very slight browning to board edges. No bumping or wear. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound. Slight browning to endpapers. No previous owner names or markings. Signed by author on title page: "Eva G. Connor - Oct. 18, 1938." 247 pages. Clean jacket has edge chipping, is price clipped; enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover.
