Very good first edition book in very good dust jacket. Nicely inscribed by theauthor on the half-title page. Sky blue covered boards with gold graphics on front panel and gilt text on spine. Panels are clean and text is crisp. Bump at head of board spine. Rubs on tips of corners and along edges at head and tail of spine. Tips on fore-edge corners minimally rubbed. Book is internally clean and text block is sound. Dust jacket is soiled overall. Spine is faded. Spine and fore-edge folds are creased and rubbed. Several chips and closed tears along edges at head and tail of jacket spine. Loweredge on frontjacket panel has two 3/8" closed vertical tear to the right and left of center. Upperedge on front panel has 3/8" closed vertical tear toward left corner, with adjacent creases. Lower left corner onback jacketpanel has 1/2" closed tear along the back fore-edge fold. Upper and lower edges on front and back panels have several small chips and creases. Smallyellow rectangular tape toward base of spine. Not price clipped.
