First Edition. INSCRIBED by the author on the front endpaper: "Nov 1979 / To Arnold Krammer / Philip Roth." Very Good plus in a Very Good plus dust jacket. Book is lightly soiled on the spine (just affecting the P and H of Philip). Jacket lightly toned and edgeworn, with a few short closed tears to the spine ends and top edge of the front panel, and accompanying creasing. A presentable copy of the author's second book.
