First edition. Printed wrappers. A little rubbing on the wrappers, near fine. Inscribed by the author to Bernard Miles, whose Mermaid Theatre staged the first production: "To Bernard with love & thanks for a marvellous [sic] start for this play. Brian." Originally a 1972 English television play featuring Ian McShane, then this 1978 stage production, and then filmed in 1981 by John Badham with Richard Dreyfuss, John Cassavetes, and Christine Lahti.
