Attractively bound in brown textured cloth with decorations at the corners and bright gold lettering on the front cover. With wear along the spine (cloth mostly worn off)and at the corners. With 52 pages of text and 2 pages of adds. All edges are gilded. A scarce volume, especially inscribed: "To Miss Russell from the Author." on the front endpaper. The book provides a detailed and vivid description of life inside a convent, including the daily routines, religious practices, and social interactions of the nuns who live there.
