Translated from the French by Mrs. Devonshire. precedes the American 1st edition and by itself is quite scarce, what is remarkable is that this life of Pasteur contains an original ALS in two pages signed and dated by Louis Pasteur about this book, this biography, about this author, with much personal content laid in. More precise, the French edition appeared in 1900, and there was a preliminary study of Pasteur in French by Radot which appeared in the 1880s, as well, entitled, both books are related to their relationship, M. Pasteur - Histoire d'un savant par un ignorant This is a rare assembly, requires a morocco slipcase with indications, else fine. Pasteur letters of lessor content start at 12,000 dollars. This is a great item.
