This collection of esays by Southern Agrarian poet Allen Tate is signed and inscribed on the ffep to Priscilla Sutcliffe, the wife of Denham Sutcliffe, an American writer, editor, and professor of English who spent most of his professional life at Kenyon College. Letters between Tate and Sutcliffe are held in various university archives The book itself is close to near fine but the DJ has some small slits and chips on the edges and one large chip at the top of the spine. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 379 pages; Signed by Author.
