First Edition. Tall octavo: 206 pp. Photo-illustrated throughout. Bound in half blue leather over marbled boards, with a short tear at the head of the spine which has started, some minor edge wear and bumped corners. Tight and clean internally, with many black & white photographic plates. SIGNED presentation by Vanderbilt, dated 1933 to Tudor Wilkinson, an American art collector who famously got Sylvia Beach freed from custody in Vichy France during the occupation. Limited to a small print of only 200 copies. A scarce piece of American automotive history with a nice association presentation. Seller Inventory # 100217
