This copy has been signed and dedicated by the translator, Rina Litvin, to the pre-eminent Lewis Carroll scholar, Professor Morton N Cohen, "To dear Morton, in memory of our meeting in Israel, my Hebrew 'Looking-Glass', with respect, admiration, and friendship. Rina Litvin, Tel-Aviv, June 5th, 1999". A Hebrew translation of Lewis Carroll's 1871 Alice's second adventure takes her through the looking-glass to a place even curiouser than Wonderland. She finds herself caught up in the great looking-glass chess game and sets off to become a queen, includes the poems 'The Walrus and The Carpenter' and 'Jabberwocky'. Rina Litvin was a highly respected translator of English works into Hebrew. Condition: This copy is in very good condition.
