In this novel he writes about two women who set off on an adventure with unpredictable and hilarious results. Setting out from Hollywood they tangle along the way with Hopi Indians, with a vagrant that turns out to be an old friend, with the theft of their car (and their gun), and with all kinds of cardsharps, fakers, charmers, and crooks.
