First edition, first print, 1960. The playwright s copy with his signature on the front free endpaper and with revisions and cuts in his hand through the play, as well as a three-page folded typescript replacing the dialogue from pages half way down 114-119; changes made most likely for stage, though a film adaptation was made in 1963 called The Stripper, in which Marilyn Monroe was originally set to star, but she died the previous year.
